As I read this article, the description of a superficial, selfish and real friendship are true. I believe that superficial and selfish friendships are unnecessary in life and is it a waste of time.
Throughout my life I always been lucky in chosing the right people to create a friendship with. I did have friendships that didnt last but from those friendship is where I learned the kind of people I need in my life. I thank God for the friends and real friendships I have in my life right now because they help me through my hardest time and I know I can always depend on them if anything.

Comparison
High school and college are two places where students go to get an education. Both high school and college have 2 different set of systems: private and public. There are teachers who work very hard so that the student gets a good education.
The difference between high school and college is in high school to work hard to get a diploma. A diploma gives you acceptance to a college. High school is also more guided and you are told what you to and when.
In college, you work hard to gain a diploma in a particular major. After this completion, you can have a good job in that field. College is where you experience how to be independent. You have to do everything by yourself and your only motivation is yourself.

Personal Reflection
My favorite time of the year and my favorite holiday is Christmas. The feeling of the cold weather, hot chocolates at home watching a movie, cuddling and all warm up is what makes Christmas my favorite. I do not like the summer at all. I hate it when we are about to enter June because I know the heat is about to enter. When I was in elementary school and high school I used to love Christmas just for the simple fact that we had like a week or two weeks break. Not having to wake up early was the best feeling you can get. But now Christmas is the time for me where I can spend time with my entire family and special love ones. I have a very big family so it is hard to spend time together throughout the year. Every year, my family and I like doing secret Santa. It is so much fun because everybody tries so hard to keep it to themselves who they have but by the time it comes to reveal who we have, everybody pretty much who’s who has who, except for the grownups they kind of keep it to themselves. Also, every year we pick a different house to different Christmas so everybody has a chance to be the host. Everybody in my family cooks a special meal and we all bring it together to that one house. It be more like a buffet by the time you walk into the kitchen.
I enjoy going shopping and buying people present. I am not the type of present that gives to receive. I just like to make people happy and see a smile on their face when they received something they wanted. I also love waking up on Christmas Day wearing new pjs and ready to eat up left over from the night before, the feeling is so comfy. As for me, the routine of Christmas never gets old or tiring. Every year it’s a new thing and something I look forward to.

The Beautiful laughing Sisters
Being a refugee isn't easy and having to adapt to another type of culture or life style doesn't make it better. As I was reading this story it reminded me of the millions of people out there that go through this type of pain and torture like the girls went through for no reason. I was amazed how the two girl decided to share their powerful story with the narrator and how emotionally attach one can get from just listening to their dramatic story. It was good that Meena and Shireen found someone to speak to and share their stories with because at time I believe that the only way to get pass something is to confront it.
NASA set to crash on the moon - twice"
What I know is that Nasa has been recently doing some testing on the moon to see if it could sustain life on it. What I would like to know why the astronauts chose the moon this time if the moon is made of solid materials of rock? What I learn is that NASA is sending two spacecrafts to land on the moon to see if the impat will stir up enough dust to help the L'CROSS probe find presence of water in the moon's soil. What I would still like to know is if there happens to be water on the moon, and since it already has a hard solid foundation, does that mean that by any chance they plan to transport people or take the moon as a place of studies?

Eye Communications
Before & After:
What I know about eye communications is that it tells a person a lot by the way another person looks at them. It tells the speaker if the person is interested or even if they bored or wondering something else. What I learn is that for Japanese, looking someone in the eyes while speaking is a sign of disrespect. Something I would like to know is what happens with people who don’t know how to communicate with their eyes, for example someone might be interested in a conversation but they tend to put down their face because of shyness?

Internet addiction linked to ADHD, depression in teens
Before & After
What I know about the internet is that it is very addictive and many people spend most of their hours of the day on it, whether it is chatting online or doing their homework, they are constantly on it. What I would like to know is how being an internet addiction is linked to ADHD because of what I am aware, people who have ADHD is a disorder that many people catch at a young age. What I learned is that kids with depression, social phobia or even hostile tend to be the ones who are internet addicts. The male generations are at a higher risk of internet addiction than girls, and those who used the Internet for more than 20 hours a week, every day, or for online gaming, are at higher risk as well. It was also said that kids with depression, anger issues, or social problems also turn to the internet as a form of therapy. Internet addiction is not a serious effect and therefore there isn’t a necessary action to take upon kids. The only suggestion is that parents try to control the amount of time and the type of internet kids use such as gaming, etc. What I would like to know is how bad can the internet addiction get, if everything we do and use has some type of access to it and modern technology advance as the internet does?
